A new destination for local craft beer and real ale enthusiasts opened its doors to the public in early April this year. 

Situated in the heart of Bowness, the venue accommodates up to 90 covers inside and out.

 

Like its sister venue, the Ambleside Tap Yard, the Bowness Tap Rooms offers craft beers from around the country but priorities above all else local Cumbrian brands. 

The spot offers brewery-fresh beers from 3 large 880-pint copper tanks displayed in the venue, hand-pulled cask ales and an international range of draught beers.  

The tank-beer system is heavily focused on a low environmental footprint, cutting down transport by up- to 90% and substantially less packaging and waste. 

The extensive beer selection is accompanied by high-quality hand-stretched pizzas, gourmet burgers & sharing delicatessen boards.
