With contemporary interiors have been designed to create a relaxing and cosy atmosphere that retains that recognisable traditional British pub feel.

Situated in the heart of Bowness, the Tap Rooms specialises in serving pausterised brewery-fresh craft beers directly served from the three large copper tanks displayed in the venue. In addition to that, the place offers a range of other local, national and international beers.

The extensive bar selection is complemented by quality hand-stretched pizzas, gourmet burgers and sharing delicatessen boards made using only the finest and freshest ingredients.

Positioned close to several popular attractions in Bowness, including Beatrix Potter’s World, makes the venue the perfect place to fuel up before a day out or to rest up after a hard day trekking in the fells. Bowness Tap Rooms welcomes dogs and have bowls for them so they can enjoy a refreshing drink.

Situated in the heart of Bowness village as the hill rises up Brantfell Road our building takes its name from the famous artist and designer, Annie Garnett, a talented textiles artists during Arts & Crafts period. The building was once used to display the spinnery’s textiles to the public. The building provides guests with a naturally creative environment to explore our offering of unique drinks and delightful dishes.

They serve a fantastic selection of creative cocktails, specially crafted by our talented and highly trained mixologists, who take inspiration for around the world. A full bar of spirits, wines, and a selection of premium lagers and ciders provide a drinks offering for all.

Alongside their fantastic bar offerings, a small but fresh menu is available, made using only the finest, freshest locally sourced ingredients. The Arts Bar menu offers wraps, light bites, small plates and nibbles which perfectly accompany drinks throughout the day.

Situated within The Yewdale & open daily for breakfast, lunch & dinner, you can enjoy classic Italian dishes and drinks in our light and contemporary dining room or during the warmer months outside on our extensive terrace, situated in the heart of Coniston village centre.

The traditional wood-fired pizza oven was imported directly from Italy and we offer authentic Napoletana pizza with a crispy base served with a choice delicious topping. All Pizza’s are available to takeaway and a full drinks and coffee menu is on offer along with cakes for a sweet afternoon treat.

For Breakfast, we offer the traditional Full English, alongside butties which are also perfect to take away and enjoy on the fells or by the lake.

The Yewdale Inn is situated in the very centre of Coniston village in the heart of The Lake District, one of the UK’s top walking destinations.

The pub offers a fantastic range of seasonal and classic pub dishes, made using only the finest, freshest, locally sourced ingredients. For you beer fans we offer a selection of local real cask ales, fine wines from around the world, and a selection of premium spirits, lagers and ciders.

The contemporary interiors have been designed to create a relaxing and cosy atmosphere that retains that recognisable traditional British pub feel.  Well behaved four-legged friends (dogs) are also welcome in the bar area – they need somewhere to rest their tired legs too.

The Inn offers a traditional country stay with 9 en-suite guest rooms. Each of our B&B Room’s offer guests a warm, comfortable and cosy stay with rooms providing either a spectacular Coniston fell view or a village/church view.
