Situated in Ambleside’s old mill yard adjacent to the historic Bridge House, we specialise in serving pasteurised brewery-fresh craft beers served direct from six large copper tanks displayed above the bar, plus a range of other local, national and international beer offerings. We have drinks to quench everyone’s thirst.

Farm Yard Brew Co. – LOF 4.4% (VE)

A German style pilsner from Lancashire. A light & fruity aroma with subtle orange zest notes on the palette. The lengthy lagering process makes this a crisp & refreshing pilsner.

Tirril Brewery – Tirril Pilsner 4% (GF)

A superior lager, stronger and with more hop character than their Pennine Pilsner, flavoured with Czech Saarz hops. An exceptionally fine lager.

Farm Yard Brew Co. – Pucker – Passion Fruit Sour 4% 

Fermented with Philly Sour yeast and packed with generous amounts of passion fruit juice and purée, this beer balances tart passion fruit notes with the sweetness of vanilla and lactose.

Farm Yard Brew Co. – Splish Splash 4.5%

Brewed in collaboration with the North West Beer Appreciation Society, this session IPA is loaded with Citra, Mosaic, Sabro and Motueka hops, giving it a citrus, tropical and floral profile with low bitterness to let the fruit flavours shine.

Fell Brewery – Session IPA 4.% (VE)

Hazy, fruity and balanced, hopped with Ekuanot, Citra & Centennial. Big dry hop and whirlpool additions, gentle bitterness, just an elegant, super easy-drinking hoppy session beer.

Tap Yard – Tirril – Windermere Blonde 3.8% (Gluten Free)

This light beer uses two New World hops, Cascade and Liberty, to give plenty of hop flavor, without being overpowering. Tirril’s own version of the classic ale style has soon become one of our best loved ales.

Cumbrian Ales  – Loweswater Gold 4.3%

A World famous Golden Ale with a tropical fruit flavour. Winner of the Champion Golden Ale of Britain 2011
